Samsung Tizen 7.0 – SocialScreen Setup

Inspect the package for any indications of damage. If there are concerns about damage, consider taking a snapshot of the packaging before starting the unpacking process.
Report any identified damages and document them by taking pictures.
Proper mounting is crucial for ventilation to function effectively. Incorrect mounting may void the warranty.

Follow the steps below for guidance;

  • Select language.
  • Connect to the internet.
  • Accept privacy settings.
  • Choose Manual Setup.
  • Choose Portrait(vertical) or Landscape(horizontal), depending on how the screen is mounted.
  • Press Custom App and enter: https://socialscreen.app
  • Choose Go, and then press the right arrow on the remote control.
  • Choose Skip on the Connect to RM Server option.
  • Set Auto Power Off to Off to prevent the screen from turning off automatically.
  • Set the date and time (very important that this is correct), then hit the right arrow on the remote control.
  • Set a PIN or use the default (000000.)

The first part of the setup is now complete, and you should reach the main menu.

  • Press HOME and select Features. Then choose App Management.
  • Press Install Custom App and double-check that the URL entered is correct:
    https://socialscreen.app
    Then press Go.
  • The app will then install and start up.
    A code screen will appear, and you are ready to connect the screen to your account.

The following takes place on PC:

  • Log in to the system by typing https://app.socialscreen.com in your browser and log in.
  • When logged in to the system, you will have a menu on the left side with an option called Devices. Click on this. In the top right corner, click Add new device.
    Enter the code displayed on your screen, give the screen a name, and remember to save device.
  • You can now create a Playlist with the desired content from the Slides option
    (if you need help with this, there is a “Product presentation” video at the bottom of the Dashboard page).
  • Press Devices and select your screen. On the right-hand side, enter which playlist you want to display and save device.
  • Everything is set up and ready! Feel free to turn your device off and on again, to verify that the app and the content starts playing automatically on startup.
