Setup Android, Phone or Tablet

There are various apps for Android where you can set up kiosk mode and playback via url. We recommend the app Fully Kiosk Browser & Lockdown – Apps on Google Play from Google Play. This app works well in the free version, or you can buy a license that gives you extra functionality. We also recommend generating a unique url for the info screen, to ensure the most reliable solution.

1. Download the app from Google Play and install it. Start the app
2. Go to “Settings” and “Web Content Settings”. Enter the following settings:
   Start url: https://socialscreen.app/[unique url]
3. Go to “Settings” and “Web Auto Reload”. Make sure all settings here are set to 0 or off.
4. Go to “Settings” and “Device Management”. Enter the following settings:
   Keep Screen On: On
   Unlock Screen: On
5. Restart the app and everything should now work properly.
   (You can also experiment with the settings if you want different functionality. Applies especially if you have bought a plus license!)
