Location: Trondheim, Norway

SocialScreen is seeking a Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team in Trondheim. As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our Software as a Service. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

In SocialScreen we are working with React and Typescript, so you preferably have some experience with that or similar frameworks as Angular, Vue or Svelte.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web-based applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces
• Work with backend developers to integrate frontend code with backend APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications
• Continuously improve application performance and user experience

Requirements:

• Preferably a Bachelor’s or higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least a few years of experience as a Frontend Developer, but recent graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong skills in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with React or similar frameworks (e.g. Angular, Svelte, Vue)
• Familiarity with Git and agile methodologies such as kanban
• Passion for technology and IT
• Fluent in English

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of Go, Electron, or Flutter
